Rain and More Rain

This is the fourth straight day of heavy rain.

And the forecast for the next 4 days? More rain. Warm wet air is pouring up from the Gulf of Mexico and higher cooler air from the Gulf Stream is is condensing it into rain. There is no wind, the rain is coming straight down and will be here from some time. This is classic "Cow Pissing on a Flat Rock" rain. Maybe two cows.

Bonjour.

You made me laugh out loud or LOL when I read about two cows pissing on a rock - now that's my sort of language and not expressions I expect from you! Isn't it funny how rudery (I made that word up) gets straight to the point, particularly when discussing the rain?
When the sky gets really dark over here because of inclement weather we use the expression "it's as black as night over Bill's mother's". Now who Bill is and where his mother lives no one seems to know (or care) but it's just the well worn expression.

Same here: windy, stormy and rainy, although warm enough for early May.
