Black & White Weekend Reflection - Glacier Bay, Alaska

In the summer of 2006 we went on a cruise that visited Alaska's Glacier Bay.  Only 10 years ago the bay was solid ice.

Oh man, talk about global warming…

The view is still magnificent though.

The dreariness of the issue demands black and white. We have the same problems with our glaciers.

Very well depicted.

It's beautiful in monochrome. It's so sad about the glaciers, isn't it?

Beautiful Arctic scenery, which always has a special place in my heart. Love the black and white effect, dramatic.

Great image Bill. I don't like the darkroom voodoo either. It's why I use Diafine for development and scan my negs so I can stay out of the darkroom.

That's a place I want to go to someday! I heard it's a bit similar to NZ, which I loved.
