Next door to the Shedd Aquarium is the Field Museum of Natural History. It was founded with a grant from Marshall Field who made his fortune in the department store business.

I love that place! My favorite exhibit is the one on ancient Egypt with all the mummies. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping in that gift shop last December too.
I feel like I'm in the "Night at the Museum" movie! I would love to visit, I'm a museum fan.
