Christmas Tree

Susan telephoned me from Seoul a few minutes ago. They arrived safely but are very tired. There is a 15 hour time difference so night here is noon tomorrow there - a little confusing. She promises pictures later but none yet. So I will share a few things from here.

Here is our little Christmas tree. It sits in our front window so it looks pretty from the street.

What a beautiful tree - it puts my little one to shame - but at least I was able to show the "Christmas spirit" when Sharon walked through the door. It's lovely having her at home although it's also taking some getting used to having another body in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment!
When she gets over her jetlag we'll send a photograph of the two of us to your email so you can put faces to names.

Anne,
If you look closely you will see that my little 4 foot tree is sitting on a table top. I'm sure yours is quite elegant.

No doubt Sharon's visit will be a welcome change in your routine. I have been reading her blog for some time and feel I know her and her group of fun-loving friends. Truth be told, I modeled my blog from hers. Both are really just online journals of photos and notes describing the events in our lives. Granted her events are a bit more interesting than mine, but then she lives in paradise.

I admire Sharon for going out and creating a life for herself that is of her own choosing. Too many of us spend our lives regretting yesterday and fretting about tomorrow. She seems to live for the day and enjoys whatever she encounters. That takes a certain amount of courage and I admire her for it.
