Autumn Color

In the tall Oak trees the color seems to work its way down from top to bottom. By next week there will be much more color.

Oh my word, what beautiful pictures. I've just been ordering jigsaws and, as you know, I just adore these sort of pictures.

Lucky you to have such wonderful colour, literally in your back garden. Is the small shrub-like tree a Japanese maple?

Anne, I believe the red shrub is a Euonymus Alata, "Burning Bush". It is gorgeous in the fall has nice red berries that birds enjoy. However it can be a pest as the bird droppings spread the seeds in many unwanted places. But if it is a weed, it is certainly an attractive one.

Bonsoir.

L'automne est vraiment magnifique dans l'Oklahoma et les arbres revêtent mille couleurs fort agréables à l'oeil.

This is the kind of fall color we had... before the snow last week ;-)
