Oklahoma Freewheel: For the past 32 years a thousand of more happy bikers spend the second week of June riding 400 miles in six days from Texas across the state of Oklahoma to Kansas. All brag, no sag!
If you check the photo archive for Freewheel 1993 you will find an old friend.

I wanted to try this kind of bike. Here in Phils. seldom to see this kind of bike.
thanks for sharing
That's a great photograph. Very colorful outfits and matching also and great smiles.
Those are some serious bragging rights! Six days in June, 400 miles, Texas-Oklahoma-Kansas heat. Yeah, that's something to brag about!~Tanna
Sounds like fun...I'd do it!
Now you're speaking my language!!! Is that you in the link? Very cool!
I wonder if they look that happy near the end. :)
Ah, the famous "Tour de Oklahoma" :-)
(I have just realized it took me three attempts to spell the name of your state correctly. Gee.)
Actually I took this photo in 2001 when I did my last Freewheel. I rode a lot of these but this last one was to manage a rest stop. Yes, the link is me with my faithful assistant Tootsie. And yes Rosie, those were the days.
I'm afraid I don't know the identity of the father and son pair but they were having a great week. At the end they will be tired and maybe a little sore, but with a sense of accomplishment and lots of shared memories.
That's a father-son pair? For a minute I thought it was Bobby and Jo Carol.
