On the south side is a long bar and a view of the open kitchen. The atmosphere is of a clean modern space at the same time simple and very attractive. |
Sue and I live in the part of Tulsa known as Brookside. The economic center of Brookside is Peoria Avenue from 31st Street to 51st Street. Here are located a great number of restaurants and clubs serving an amazing variety of food, beverage and entertainment. There is so much going on in this neighborhood that it even has its own Brookside Website.
One of the newer establishments is a Wolfgang Puck Bistro. Mr. Puck's first restaurant was and is Spago on California's Sunset Strip. Now there are about 2 dozen Puck restaurants scattered around the US. Each one is distinct and designed to cater to its locality. Tulsa's has quickly become a very popular dining spot. Every time we go by there it looks packed, both for lunch and for dinner. We really wanted to try it so we dropped in about 2:30 Friday afternoon and found it nearly empty. Sue ordered the Pacific Fish and Chips and I had the Chicken Pot Pie. Both were very nice.
