Wordless Wednesday - Doors: Wright Elementary

The front doors to Tulsa's Wright Elementary.  The school is round like the propeller on the Wright brother's first airplane.  Our grandson Willy starts 5th grade here next week.

Children in England are still on their summer holidays and don't return to school until early September.

That looks a very smart school.

Nice looking school. They should be proud that Tulsa's official door man put it on his blog.

Bonjour Bill.

En France, les écoles, collèges et lycées reprennent le 2 septembre... je crois.
J'espère que vous allez bien ?

So is this his final year here before moving on to middle school? They grow way too fast!

Enjoyed the bittersweet tale about your cycling friend. Glad he's able to get back on his bike, but sure hate that he had to go through such a horrendous experience!

There was a time when it was Wright Jr. High.

I'd love to do a series of shots of schools around the world! I was surprised to see so many schools in N. America were new with huge yards. Our yard wasn't big enough for all of us (about 500 students in junior high/ high school) to gather in!
