Tulsa is home to the QuikTrip chain of convenience stores. Convenience stores have become common in most places and there is a lot of competition in this specialty marketplace. In this area QuikTrip is the dominate player. They are well located, clean, and the staff is well trained and courteous. They seem to have a good selection of the necessities and they are open 24 hours a day. The prices are reasonable, and locally they to set the price for gasoline. Initially they just served Tulsa but now have spread to 9 surrounding states. They do a good job. When we travel out of their area we miss them.
We have convenience stops like this where snacks, odd groceries and petrol can be bought in the one place! Amazing how they always seem to be red! Great series of shots!
I love Quik Trip. SuperPizzaBoy have enjoyed many "geocaching lunches" there over the years. Hot dogs, soft drinks, and a cookie for him. Ham sandwich and soft drink for me.
Yes, QT is a great place. They have defined the word convenience store in several states. Now they are moving into South Carolina. They are known for their handshake deals on competition. If you are ever in Oklahoma City, you won't see a QT. The friends shook hands saying that they would never compete against one another. This happens all the time. When they say it they mean it. Chester and Chet are wonderful people in my book.

Never heard of them, but I guess it's normal!
In Ottawa, we have a few main convenience stores but not as many as in the US I believe. And only a couple of 7/11!

love these images..the red really does stand out. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Miss QT SOOOOOO much. They have them in Dallas, but not as far south as Austin.
And they also sell Powerball tickets!!
Best of all, nice big red signs...

I won't stop anywhere but QT when I'm in Tulsa, and for all of the reasons that you mentioned. Happy RT.
