Low-Water Dam Revisited
Over the weekend I posted a black and white photo of the pedestrian bridge and low-water dam that span the Arkansas River just north of 31st and Riverside in Tulsa. Here is another angle on the low-water dam. There is little difference in the color and the black and white except for the blue tint of the sky reflected in the water.

I like the S shaped lines of the water falling. Nice shot.
Bill this is an excellent image, beyond that it is beautiful. You have captured the morning light so well. Add to that the lines that you have dissected the image by: the two weirs horizontally, and the pouring waters vertically. Good stuff.
Thank you for our comment on my blog just now. Both text and image are my original work. Occasionally, I will include a verse from a favourite poem but always with attribution. I am trying out a new style in twenty ten to improve my writing style. You may care to adventure along with me. I would appreciate your comments. As you know, learning occurs the most from negative comments.
The new venture is Riff and is on my side-bar.
This photo is better Bill. I do like the nice tight composition. You nailed the essence of the curving falls with this one. Nice work!
Have you posted this picture before or is it simply a much improved view of the low-water dam?
Anne
How many times have I looked at that while walking? I've never seen what you just showed me. Thanks - S. Foust
Looks like a mini Niagara Falls :-)
