Take Time to Smell the Roses

After a 1500 mile journey it is nice to be back home to relax and smell the roses. I slept late this morning. Poor Saint Susan had to work. There is no rest for the weary.

You definitely deserve to relax. Take a good book, enjoy the flowers and go eat at your favorite place ;)

It takes almost as much time to rest from a vacation as it does to take the vacation.

Poor Susan having to work, however, someone has to earn the pennies to pay for the holiday!

Enjoy your siesta. How is Smokey spending his time post-holiday? Is he happy to be back to the familiar smells of home?

Bonjour Bill.

Kisses.

We have been napping a lot since coming home. A marathon trip like ours is great fun but very tiring. As I write this I am stretched out on the bed and Smokey is curled up next me. We are taking a vacation from our vacation.
