Tulsa has a lot of "outdoors".  What do we have that sets us apart?  The beautiful Arkansas River that runs through Tulsa.  The city of Tulsa just announced a $200 million addition to the river park system to be called "A Gathering Place" made possible by Tulsa businessman George Kaiser.  Read all about it in the Tulsa World.
