Black & White Reflections - Murrah Memorial

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was a United States Government office building located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On the morning of April 19, 1995 it was the target of a massive bombing which sheared off the entire north side of the building, killing 168 people. This was the most significant act of domestic terrorism on American soil prior to the September 11, 2001 attack on New York City. The memorial was dedicated on April 19, 2000, the fifth anniversary of the bombing. Read about is on Wikipedia.

That photograph is so much more powerful in black and white.

Very nicely captured indeed, and the B&W image certainly intensifies the mood. Well done.

Hard to believe that was that long ago. I have been in OK City several times but have yet to see the memorial--I must do that sometime. Mickie :)

I have been to the Memorial a bunch of times and have seen lots of images but none with the power of yours Bill. Great job.
