My sons David and Luke treated me to lunch at the White River Fish Market. March 1 is my birthday. When I was 58 I suffered stage 3 colon cancer and was given about 2 years. I wondered if I would make 60. Now I am 70 and doing pretty darned good thank you. Over the past 12 years I have met and married a fine sweet lady and to the best of my ability have made the most out of my life. Every day is a gift.
We told our server that this was a birthday lunch and she treated me to a lovely slice of cherry cheesecake which we shared. It's all good.

Happy Birthday Bill!
Happy Birthday Bill!, and what a place to celebrate it, and some cheesecake also.
Happy Birthday! A wonderful story and a fine pic of some handsome men!
Happy Birthday TG. Life is indeed a gift and you seem to be making the most of it.
You truly don't look (and sound!) your age! What doesn't kill you make you stronger, you are a fighter!
Joyeux anniversaire!
DUDE! Many happy returns and (of course) many more. I thank you for all your sweet, lovely and witty comments and for being a kind internet chum to my mum.
I wish you continued good health and applaud you for spreading such good mojo around the blogosphere.
Cheers!
Happy Birthday Bill - you don't look a day over 69! What a handsome trio you make.
Congratulations with the great day!!!. Beating that 12 cancer twelve years ago gives one en extra reason for celebration. I know the feeling, since I had a heart transplant seven years ago and am still "going strong" :-)
And my best birthday wishes, too, even if they are late. What a happy table, and much to celebrate indeed.
You give me such great hope! Happy belated to you! I'm so glad you're still with us! How often do you have check ups nowadays?
Blessings to you as your celebrate your birthday!
