Sunday Bridges - Old Frisco Bridge

The old Frisco Railroad bridge over North Denver Avenue.  The year 1930 is embossed in the center of the span.

Boy, have I seen a lot of this type bridge in my lifetime. They are workhorses and withstand the weight and movement of trains quite well. This photo represents a once vibrant industry in our country. I miss all of my trains. Very nice shot this week.

That looks like a few bridges you see around Sydney too.

I would say the railroads made things to last. Nice photo.

I'm going to have check that out. If the tracks are not active that would be a great place for a geocache.
