Weekend Reflections - Pool in B&W

Just south of our church is a nice housing addition with two large ponds astride the entrance.  Last Sunday I drove just inside to take a closer look and took several photos.  With the stonework around the entrance it is quite lovely.

For those who asked about the source of the ripples, here is the original in color and the fountain .  It might have been better in color, but a little mystery is fun.

Nice black and white. I like the large circular ripples in the water.

This is a wonderful monochrome shot!
The ripples were one of the first things I noticed.
Nice image Bill.

I love how you captured the ripples coming out of the side of the photo.

I like the ripples too, they make the water look so dynamic.

Bel effet la photo en noir et blanc. J'aime bien ce beau reflet tourbillonnant :-)

Very nice black and white. Good composition and what must be plants on the edge of the pond looks like ice crystals. I'm guessing not at this time of year.

That's really interesting, how the water ripples! Also, I thought it was a winter photo... with snow on the edges... but if just took this, that's not possible, is it? Lovely photo!

I liked the curved framing and the way it leads into the photo - and the "matching" curves in the structure and in the water.

It looks like the interesting ripples must be cause by a fountain. Lovely arches, too!
