I'm very happy to see again your wonderfull picture about birds ! Spring is coming soon !
Have a nice day !
I've found that a pellet rifle does an excellent job of controlling the starlings.
Love the little woodpecker. They love the suet feeder in my back yard as well.
I thought you'd made a special bird a "posh" table cover. I suffer from an over-enthusiastic imagination!
This is one of your best shots ever! Too bad the contraption doesn't achieve its purpose, but if the birds can manage to get into the food with that kind of acrobatics, I suppose they deserve the reward. I feel like I've been watching the Winged Olympics!
thankfully, we have no starlings! but the junco, the chickadee, the titmouse all like the suet and take their turns at it with this little fellow.
That is a very beautiful male. I only have females visiting my feeders.
Great shot. I'm having lots of trouble with the starlings hogging he suet feeder. I hadn't tried the pie plate, doesn't sound like it works anyway.
Cool shot! The upside down bird :-D
You made me laugh with this one, my Grandfather waged war with the squirrels in Georgia over the bird feeders and eventually won, but the battle was worth quite a few laughs.
Sweet shot of that beauty!
And starlings, well, they are a bit pesky, but I still love them :)
