Tunnel of Snow

There is a section of 101st Street between Yale and the river where the trees arch over the street and make a kind of tunnel. I admire it in the summer when it is green and in the fall when it is in shades of red and gold. Usually it is bare in the winter but today the snow covered the branches and it was a lacy pattern of black and white.

Great picture, good perspective and composition. Almost a Black and white picture.

Love that avenue of trees whatever the season.

I love 'tree tunnels' and a snow covered one is nice, too.

Beautiful, nice, quiet, fresh and winterly!

Why don't you take a pic of that at all four seasons so we can see how it change?

Beautiful photo! I had no idea it snowed in Tulsa. Would love to see the view in different seasons!

This is a great blog, by the way :)

A beautiful classic winter pic! I would never have known it got so cold down there.

I've been wanting to see this photo ever since I noticed the title the day you posted it, but everything kept me too busy to poke around. Splendid composition!

Oh, and I was very excited to hear you have volunteered as a SAG! I've had to take advantage of a SAG only once in my life, and it was a very pleasant experience, even though I was so discouraged to have sagged. The volunteers are GREAT. I can picture you being in that group of wonderful people!
