Weekend Reflections - Tulsa Baseball

Sue and I took our grand kids Molly and Willie to see a Driller Baseball Game tonight.  It was very warm but with a nice breeze and Tulsa has a beautiful downtown ballpark.  There is a wonderful view of the city skyline from the third base side.  (Click to enlarge picture)

The hotdogs are tasty, the soda is cold, and the ice cream is served in little souvenir plastic batting helmets.  And after the game was a very nice fireworks display.  And did I mention that the Tulsa Drillers pounded the Midland Hounds by 14 to 1?  What could be better?

One has to take the camera to our ballpark. It is very photogenic. Great pics.

Cool! I've always wondered why the lights are so bright though.

Zhu - The lights have to be bright to illuminate the field. They don't look that bright unless you look at them. It is like looking at the sun.
