Sue had never been to New Orleans so we drove to the French quarter and spent a long day checking items off her bucket list. We ate beignets at the Cafe du Monde, visited the St. Louis Cathedral, ate lunch at Antoine's, and took a ride in a horse drawn carriage. At the end of the day she was tired but very happy.

After a nice visit with our son Paul and his family we drove east to Panama City Beach to admire the sugar white sand and clear Gulf waters. The scenery was terrific!

While in the Pensacola area we drove down to the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier where we visited the Crab House and ate the best shrimp boil ever.

Sorry for the lack of posts, but Sue and I have been on a holiday and only returned yesterday. First we went down to Pensacola, Florida to spend some time with her Navy son Paul and his family.
