Route 66 runs right through downtown Tulsa. The city has celebrated that with a memorial arch at the place where the highway begins to pass over the Arkansas River.

Great photo, using B&W is perfect!
I've been over that bridge more times than I can count and traveled Route 66 between Tulsa and St. Louis many times as a youngster. Never thought the day would come that I would be proud to say, "I have traveled the Mother Road."
An iconic road - even I have heard of it. Great photos.
