Skywatch Friday - Buttermilk Sky

I think that's what you call this kind of sky.  It is getting cool at night and the leaves will be changing color soon.  I like living where the seasons change.

I thought "buttermilk sky" came out of the imagination of Hoagie Carmichael - must be wrong. It took me a while to remember "Hoagie", I longed to write "Yogi".

I've just checked "buttermilk sky" and find it's what we would call a mackerel sky. I also discovered

I always thought "Stardust" was his best song although he wrote a bunch of songs that are still known today.
