Macro Monday - Foxglove

The gardens at Big Cedar Resort in Branson were in full bloom and included lots of Foxglove.  We don't see foxglove very much possibly because they contain digitalis which is toxic if ingested.  The little bugs seemed to enjoy them.

Fantastic photo, I love the speckled insides of foxgloves.

They really are pretty. The dots of purple definitely stand out against the white. Fine macro. genie

I love foxgloves. Over here, they're a wild flower and seem to crop up in most gardens I've ever owned.

Gorgeous, unusual flower. I've never actually seen foxglove outside a picture book. You've captured it beautifully - complete with two little visitors!

They're lovely. My granny always had foxglove in her garden.

Beautiful flowers! I do try to avoid some of those toxic plants with the goats around my place. :-)
