Skywatch Friday - Across the Mississippi

We crossed the Mississippi River on our road trip a month ago.

More SkyWatch Friday

Tulsa had the hottest temperatures in the nation
today (Wednesday). The temperature downtown
with all the concrete and steel was 117 *F.       .

Please send rain!   .

Very peaceful. Love how the sky and river match perfectly.

117 is just entirely too hot!!! We are getting a shower now. It's not much, but it is greatly appreciated.

Je cherche aussi la pluie !
Dans notre coin du sud de la France, nous avons atteint 39° celsius, hier... et j'ai du monde ce soir pour un barbecue :-//
Bisous.

Wow what a sky - it's enormous. I cannot begin to think what 117 must be like to endure, nor do I think I'd like to. Perhaps I shouldn't moan about not really having a summer this year - at least life is bearable.

I love crossing the Mississippi River. I see barges, and some really tall buildings way off in the distance.

Rain would be great. I went running on Turkey Mountain Wednesday night. Not very many people there. My attitude now is that 110 is the new 90.
