Very peaceful. Love how the sky and river match perfectly.
117 is just entirely too hot!!! We are getting a shower now. It's not much, but it is greatly appreciated.

Wow what a sky - it's enormous. I cannot begin to think what 117 must be like to endure, nor do I think I'd like to. Perhaps I shouldn't moan about not really having a summer this year - at least life is bearable.
I love crossing the Mississippi River. I see barges, and some really tall buildings way off in the distance.
Rain would be great. I went running on Turkey Mountain Wednesday night. Not very many people there. My attitude now is that 110 is the new 90.
