Weekend Black & White - Haskell, Oklahoma

Haskell was established in 1904 on the Midland Valley Railroad. The population was 2,007 at the 2010 census, a gain of 13.7 percent from 1,765 at the 2000 census. Haskell was named for town site developer Charles N. Haskell, the first state governor of Oklahoma.  Haskell is about 40 miles southeast of Tulsa.

I do like it, - the picture has a kind of "old style" and it is perfect in B&W!

These are the kinds of streets I remember from my childhood, and I agree with Hans that it is perfection in black and white. B/W was the way of those days. I like the idea how the town got its name. It makes me wonder how many cities in this county were named in a similar manner. Great shot. genie

I looks like a deserted monument to times gone by.
