Skywatch Friday - Desert Sunrise

My son David just came home from a visit to Iraq with the Oklahoma Air Guard.  While he was there he took a few photos that he shared with me.  It is very seldom that I post a photo that is not my own but I think this sunrise is exceptional.  Thank you Sgt Miller.

Thanks to Sgt. Miller for serving in our military. Too many of us fail to realize what our armed forces do to protect not only our freedom, but the freedom of millions around the globe. It is a pity that the biggest enemy our military confronts is our own politicians.

Fantastic photo. We appreciate your posting it!

We thank you Sgt. Miller, too. This is one beautiful photo. What a fabulous sky. I think it is really special that both of your are interested in photography. I have one son and a daughter that are picture takers, too. It is a nice hobby to have n a family. genie
