AThis 1960 Chevrolet sports the tail fins that are toned down just a bit from the gull wing fins of 1959. I have trouble thinking of this as an old car since I graduated from high school in 1959. But then again that was over 50 years ago. I guess that qualifies it as some kind of a vintage car.

Even if it had been released to the market yesterday, it LOOKS vintage. Maybe you could borrow it and take it around as a prop for a whole range of photos and see how its presence influences the way we respond to the scene.
They used to spend lots of money retooling cars in Detroit every year so everybody knew what year cars were made.
Cars are not so distinctive any more.
The car looks as if it could take off and fly right now, and I bet you could too :-)
This is pretty cool, Mr. T. The picture is a study in contrasts. The sepia gives age but the surrounding cars are recent. And, that wheelchair sign! Well, that sure didn't exist in '59.
Not to worry. I'm only six years behind you. Age is nuttin' to us vintage folk. LOL
Take heart in knowing that 'vintage' is always the best and coolest Bill. Love the sepia effect, makes it look like a real old photo.
