Two years ago we went to Santa Fe, New Mexico and visited the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Frances of Assisi. This church community dates back to 1610. The congregation celebrated its 400th anniversary last year in 2010.
The wall behind the altar is a panel of icons with a small statue of St Frances at the center. I think he is quite old but he has been given a new sash.
For more information see their website HERE. For an excellent Wikipedia article with a virtual tour of the cathedral see HERE.

One of my favorite Saint is St. Francis. He is my inspiration to talk to animals, flowers and trees. And even I don't hear the flowers and trees talk back at me but the result give a confirmation that they heard me. Trees give more fruits flowers give me lots of flowers even if I thought they gonna die ^_^ While my animals like my chicken I have a video that when I talk to my pet chicken she answers me, lol!! Though I don't understand but when I asked my pet chicken to show me the way she just turned around and lead the way, it's awesome!
Tomorrow, is our first day rel.ed. class and I am going to make cookies called wolf paw cookies, in referring the story of St. Francis and the Wolf. Kids would definitely love it ^)^
