The noble dog waiting patiently for a walk with his new red collar and leash. Smokey is eleven and one half years old and still in great shape. He is an American Pit Bull Terrier and the most gentle loving dog I have ever had. Since he was 10 weeks old he has been taught good manners. He will not lick, will not jump up on you, will not jump up on the bed or on furniture unless invited. He just looks up at you expectantly waiting to be petted. He especially likes having his ears rubbed. He is especially gentle with children. If the child starts to get too rough or tries to ride him like a horsey, Smokey will just quietly walk away and retire to the bedroom.

I wish our dogs were half as good. I think its a reflection me more than the dogs.
oh what a sweet dog that smokey is!
There is definitely an air of nobility to this dog!
