Thursday Challenge - Roads

The Thursday Challenge is "Roads".  This is a very long stretch of US 412 that passes from New Mexico straight east down the Oklahoma Panhandle.  Mile after mile of dead flat featureless farm land as far as the eye can see.  The farthest visible point is determined by the curvature of the earth.

Any road song will do. I love the wide open spaces but always like to get back home.

That reminds me of the Alfred Hitchcock film with Cary Grant (I've forgotten the title) where he was "attacked" by the crop-dusting plane.
I've been without mail as my router died and I'm attempting to get used to a laptop ready for when I move into my even smaller apt. in a couple of weeks' time.

Looking through your pictures I love the one of Wren pulling a "pet lip" which is what we call that expression for a child who is sulking!
