Enter son-in-law Jeff who came over and dug out us out. He cleared the sidewalk and all the snow off of and around the van so Sue could get out to creep over to the neighborhood Walmart. She went very slow and managed to get there and back. I did not get any farther than the front porch. Thank you very much Jeff. You are a great son-in-law and a friend indeed.
I had hoped to be able to get down to Southcrest Hospital to see my new grand daughter but Luke told me that it was too dangerous to get out. As a consolation he emailed another photo of Wren who is enjoying the second day of her life. I will see her soon enough and promise more pictures.

What a sweetie! I hope the roads are cleared soon so you can make that trip to see your little granddaughter. Do you usually received snow in the winter? We get excessive amounts here in Alberta.
@Shirley - This is the highest snowfall ever recorded in Oklahoma. Our typical snow is 3 or 4 inches which gets the kids out of school for a day or so then turns slushy and is gone before a week is up. We have so much snow and the forecasted temperature is so low that it will likely be around for some time.
Everywhere seems to be experiencing extremes i.e. Oklahoma and Queensland, Australia.
However, it's February so spring won't be too long before she's springing :-)
That little Wren looks already as though she knows a thing or two!

The way this weather is acting, that grand daughter may start pre-school before the snow melts and you get to visit her.
