Beautiful photo for Skywatch Friday! So that's an Old Buttermilk Sky. Next time I see one I will remember your post. Have a great weekend!
I didn't know it was called a Buttermilk sky - but what a great name to go with your lovely shot.
I much prefer "buttermilk" to "clabbered" sky - I hadn't heard of "clabbered" but I used to dance to Hoagy Carmichael's song - when people danced properly and not just jigged about :-)
Will you join me in the next foxtrot?
i wonder why it's called buttermilk sky. nonetheless, it's really beautiful and you can captured it nicely.
Great gathering of clouds! And adore the idea of a buttermilk sky! I have not heard that expression before!

I never know how to call my sky picture and I'm definitely borrowing the expression!
Lovely depth.
I didn't know this was called a buttermilk sky... but now that you say it, Bill... of course! Super capture. I'll have to go listen to that tune when my internet access is a little faster.
