We have been having some cooler nights and mild weather. Probably the first thing to show Autumn color is the Sumac, and next is the dogwood. I love dogwood trees. They are beautiful in the spring when they are covered with graceful blossoms, and again in the fall when they turn red.
Besides the foliage they have red berries and gray buds. The berries are the fruit from the flowers we admired in the spring. The buds are formed over the summer and will be the flowers that open next spring. If you have forgotten how beautiful dogwoods are when they bloom, look
HERE.

Beautiful colours, I just love this season. I had a photo hunt for fall colours in the woods in Oslo today - post about it during the week.
Wishing you a great week ahead :-)
Those are totally gorgeous - definitely painting pictures :-)

Same here, the leaves ate slowly changing colors.
I'm surprised they do over there since you have much warmer weather.
