Send Mail to Anysoldier

Go to AnySoldier.com

Regardless of how we feel about our military involvement in the Middle East, it is a rough assignment for the men and women of our armed forces. Some of them do not have a lot of family or support from back home and rarely receive mail. I thought I would like to send letters to some of them but did not know how.

Anysoldier.com will put you in touch with roughly 3000 service members spread throughout the Gulf region who will receive and pass on mail addressed to them with "attn: Any Soldier" as part of the address. In this way mail or "Care Packages" will be passed on to someone who will really appreciate it. If you include your street or email address in your letter then that individual has a way to respond if desired and perhaps begin a conversation.

I am sending six letters today by way of two contacts from units of Oklahoma's 45th Division and will report on the results. I encourage you to check out the web site and consider sending encouragement to a service member who is a long way from home. Here is the link. Do It Today!
