Macro Monday - Roses

It's not yet the first of May and my roses are beginning to bloom.  These are the first flowers from the new roses I potted last summer.  They are both beautiful and fragrant.  I hope the mild winter and early spring are not the run up to another scorching summer like we had last year.  Right now we are enjoying lovely weather.

What a beautiful bouquet of roses. Ours won't be out until July - what a difference a continent can make:-)
We are experiencing "drought" conditions with a hosepipe ban and YET we have also had the wettest April since records began - work that one out.......
I don't think global warning was around when the poet wrote "Oh to be in England now that April's here":-)

Beautiful roses! You must be quite a gardener.

We have no roses yet, but I'm certainly enjoying yours! I, too, though, hope it doesn't mean a scorcher...

Wow, lucky you!
In my country, Norway, we have SPRING with warmer days in the south, and even some places with SNOW further north.
