Macro Monday - Yellow Trumpets

The owner of this little candle shop at 29th and South Harvard has crafted an arbor of yellow Trumpet Vines to frame the entrance.  Maybe we should use  this idea for our pergola.

What a splash of yellow. Very cool, even though its 106F outside. Stay cool Bill.

They're lovely but I have absolutely no idea how quickly they grow. Being impatient, I'd want something that grows at a rate of knots!!!

Hello, Bill.

I do love trumpet vine! Saw some of it growing up into a big tree just this week. It had grown up the trunk and out into the branches. Beautiful!

I love trumpet vine--I have orange ones. We have hummingbirds visit ours--they love them. Nice "yellow" shot. Mickie :)
