Santa's Train

After church sue and I drove over to see my son David and his fiancée Renee in Wagoner. They are remodeling his house and needed us to inspect the work.

On the way back we drove through the downtown section to admire the Christmas decorations. In small towns like Wagoner concern for political correctness does not prevent Santa's appearance in seasonal decorations on the court house lawn.

Bonsoir.

Je ne vous oublie pas mais je suis en déplacement chez des amis. Nous serons à la maison demain soir...
Au moins, nous avons passé trois repas avec notre fils Alexis.
Bisous à tous les deux.

I spent one Christmas in Capitola with Sharon and was totally amazed at how the Americans go to town on their outside decorations. I loved it. We're terribly worried over here at being thought to be "over the top".
One or two houses might have lights in trees but that's about as far as we go. We're quite daring to leave the curtains open to show off our Christmas tree!!!
