Actually, the car has a very interesting history. [I know the owner] It may or may not be a one off - there were lots of "Speedster" bodies for Model T Fords available in the 20s, 30s and early 40s by many aftermarket companies and by Ford themselves. This car was rebodied about 30 years ago using the old 'original' body as a pattern that the previous owner found in the hills of arkansas about 65 years ago. Frame, wheels, block etc are what was found under the crumbling coachwork. He never finished the car and sold it a few weeks ago, in pieces and boxes to the current owner who now has it running like a top. Cosmetic restoration may, or may not, happen this winter. It is 18 kinds of cool!
Almost forgot... note too that the car now has disc brakes ; Model T's didnt have brakes on the wheels. The owner is a master fabricator...

That solid axle and leaf spring in the front tells me that the quality of the ride is going to leave something to be desired. Great Ruby Tuesday post though.
