Startlingly lovely - but it's the seed pod beside it which truly catches my eye. Fascinating structure.

I was going to say exactly the same as Lucy - the other plant is almost "other worldly". I'm sure I've seen it before but cannot remember its name. Any ideas Bill?

So that is a seed pod beside what I know is a water lily. I did not have a clue as to what the other one was. This is such a stroking macro. It catches your eye and pulls you right in. Great photography. genie

Great shot!
Sorry I've not visited in a while - it's explained in my second last post.
