Natureworks Along the River Park - Bear Family

All along the Riverpark are heroic-sized, realistic bronze wildlife monuments created by Natureworks for the City of Tulsa. There are nearly 2 dozen of these monuments prominently located throughout the Riverpark area. These bears are fishing in a waterfall located in the northwest cornet of the intersection of 71st Street and Riverside Drive.

Back when son was a lot smaller I'd take him running with me in a baby jogger. This fountain was always our turn around and rest stop. He loved it.

The second geocache that we placed ourselves was in the woods to the west of the fountain. We had to archive it because the new trail goes right through where the cache was. We named the cache "River Bear Den."

Our permit to place the cache is still valid so when the construction guys clear out we are going to go back and survey the situation and see if we can place another one.
