Monochrome Weekend - ONEOK Field, Let's Play Ball !

The Brand New home of the Tulsa Drillers Baseball team is ONEOK Baseball Park in the heart of Downtown Tulsa.  Lets Go Tulsa !!

The Tulsa Drillers are the Double A affiliate of the National League Champion Colorado Rockies and play in the historic Texas League.  The new ball park enjoys a fine view of Tulsa's Skyline.

Love it! The skyline makes the picture, as well as the spectators.

How do you pronounce the name of the Field? One OK or O neok? Or maybe, even, some other way?

It sounds like one-oak as in Oak-la-ho-ma.

What a great park with the high building in the background.
Nice shot in b/w.

I know absolutely nothing about baseball, but I can appreciate a nice photo :-)

Except for the skyscrapers in the background, Bill, this could be an image from the '50s. I woud have to google much of that affiliate information you provided, however.

Good choice for mono ...

Excellent shot Bill. I prefer minor league ball myself. It's more personal and usually played on real grass too.

Great shot! Nice perspective and looks like a wide angle lens with the "distortion" in the wire in the scene - or, is that just wind blowing it? Great spring shot, and nice touch with the skyline in the background to give context.
