Pedestrian Walk and Low-Water Dam over the Arkansas River .
The water above the dam is Zinc Lake, intended to be the first in a series of such lakes. These lakes, created by low water dams and other improvements in the Tulsa corridor, will make the Arkansas River more attractive and usable year round.
Nice composition. I'm in the I love the curve against the straight lines crowd. Thanks for all your thoughtful comments. I just love company. Happy New Year.
Yes, I agree with some of the other commenters on this one, Bill. The contrast of the curve and the straight line is the strong element in this image of yours. Is this your first Maniac posting? If so, goodo. I like it.

Love the contrast of the straight bridge and the curve of the weir, well suited to monochrome too. Happy New year from across the state.
Bridges are so amazing and they capture quite nicely too - nice pic! and happy new year
Like the mood of the pic. Happy new year :)
Great picture Bill.
The constructors(and the photographer) have done a nice job.
It does really look attractive. Seems like a beutiful walk over the river. Great capture!
Looks even more majestic in monochrome!
This looks great in monochrome, I love the curve in the water. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your kind comments, happy new year!

For fear of repeating the others, I was drawn to the curve and the straight line too. Nicely done. And, now I can visit Tulsa too!
This looks great in black and white. Lots of lines and bends that might get lost in color.
I would just loved to be there wiht my camera! A bit envious yes :) Welldone :) HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY :)
Love the design and composition of this image. Happy New Year!
I really like B/W pictures, it is a total different atmosphere. Less distraction, more to the point.
