When Sue and I drove out to Santa Fe on old Route 66 we came back with more great photos than we knew what to do with. There is a lot of subtle blue and green in this landscape.

You mention the many blues and greens in this landscape. We have that here in Australia. Our greens tend toward the olive part of the spectrum and eucalypts give us an oil that causes the air from a distance to appear blue.
