Today was a nice day for an little picnic. Susan and I took Smokey for a little ride. We drove through a KFC Chicken place and got 2 chicken dinners - grilled chicken, mashed potatos, cole slaw, a biscuit, and sodas. We went up to Chandler Park and found a secluded picnic table for our quiet lunch.

I love Chandler Park! It's so beautiful up there. Do you know if they still have the Scottish Games up there or did they move them?
I haven't heard much about the Scottish games for awhile. It may have fizzled out,
I'm curious - you mention "biscuit" in your lunch box - is that the scone-like confection?

Anne - yes, they are a bit like scones but not sweet. It is a kind of quick bread. These are the kind we put gravy on. Yummy. Here is a link to tell you all about biscuits. Give them a try and eat them with butter and honey.
