Blue Dome Station

The Blue Dome was built in 1924 and served as a Gulf Oil Station. This was the first station in Oklahoma to have hot water, pressurized air and a car wash. It was also open 24 hours, seven days a week. The station attendant lived upstairs in the dome itself. It is now something of a landmark and an icon for downtown Tulsa. Across the street is the Blue Dome Diner where my son Luke makes the world's finest walnut blueberry pancakes.

Voici une très belle station service ! j'aimerai qu'elle soient toutes comme cela plutôt que ce truc affreux plein de lumière que nous voyons aux bords des routes.
Les stations service américaines sont plus belles que les françaises !! lol

Anne - There is beauty everywhere if we only see it. What the camera does is remind me to look for it.

Micki - our new service stations are as ugly as yours. The Blue Dome is from a better time. And please say hello to our twins in Amiens. It IS a small world.
