Feed a Cold

Doctor Susan decided that my cold needed a good breakfast and since she offered to buy, I had no choice but to agree. She took me to the new "Jimmy's Egg" at 41st and Peoria.

Susan is very good to me, no doubt about it. I was single for 10 years after my first marriage ended in divorce, and was determined not to marry again. Sue decided that it was time for me to remarry and convinced me that she was right. She usually is.

I reckon the lady has taste.

I've been widowed since 1992 and it has never crossed my mind to remarry. I confess part of the reasoning behind that is ironing shirts, a job I loathed AND I have complete control of the remote!!
However, it would be lovely to have stimulating company over meals out - hence my excitement at Sharon coming home. I see it as a holiday for both of us so dining out is high on the list of priorities - oh, and doing a puzzle with no picture!!!

Susan's favorite meal to eat out is breakfast. It is a special treat. Yes, I am a very lucky man to find Susan so late in my life. I was divorced at age 52 and planned never to marry again. Then I met Susan at my church and when I was 62 we married. I am a very happy man, maybe this is the best time of my life. I am very lucky.
