The Tulsa Driller baseball field is reflected in the entrance to the Perimeter Technology Building. This is one of a number of old downtown buildings which have been remodeled and repurposed in the city center.
ONEOK Field is located in the historic Greenwood District of downtown Tulsa. The art deco style architecture of the ballpark pays tribute to Tulsa's professional baseball past, the Greenwood District and the City of Tulsa. Prior to this new stadium the Drillers played at the Tulsa county fairground. The Drillers played their first game in the new ballpark on Thursday, April 8, 2010. The ONEOK foundation contributed 5 million dollars toward the construction and earned naming rights for the next 20 years. ONEOK is an energy company supplying natural gas to the Tulsa area.

I love ONEOK field (and not just cuz I work for them.)
Nice couple of images.
Great B&W :0)
I wonder how much of the five million Yogi contributed from his own purse? I like this post, somehow it seems "right" in black and white.
Your posts are always so interesting. Iook forward to them. Like really do like the art deco to the stadium. Great job, Bill. genie
I worked on the construction documents for Driller Stadium at the fairgrounds. I am planning on going to a game in the new facility later this summer. We are really looking forward to it.
It is nice to see some positive changes taking place in the Greenwood district. For many years, that area of downtown Tulsa was not the most pleasant place to be, especially after dark. Have a great week.
Impressive gateway! Great reflections in those windows.
