The part of the country around Oklahoma has been terribly dry for the last several years. Ranchers have had to sell cattle because their stock ponds were dry. But starting about two weeks ago we have finally had some rain. For the last several days we have had rain mixed with snow. We are hoping that our dry spell is over.
Those first rains after a long dry spell are so wonderful. We have actually had a little bit here in Perth today, not enough to do much good though, at least it's a little cooler. Have a good weekend Bill.
I too hope you have sufficient rain to ease your drought problem. If you really do have trouble, contact HM's government and I'm sure we can try and sell you some of our excess!!

Great clouds, nice sky!
Happy SWF to you!

Nice pic,
I'm really enjoying all this rain and the freezing rain that doesn't freeze and the mushy snow.
Hopefully it will continue for a while.
Wonderful shots of that dark and dramatic sky. I hope you'll have enough rain meanwhile.
Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend.
