Last night was a dinner for patrons and a most excellent talk by Dr. John Edward Hasse. Dinner music was provided by a jazz quartet with singer from the University of Tulsa and they were top notch.
Dr. John Edward Hasse-music historian, pianist, award winning author and record producer, is visiting Tulsa for the seventy seventh season of the Tulsa Town Hall. Mr. Hasse serves as Curator of American Music at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History.

Great picture..and explanation!
Looks like you had a great time and a good photo as well!
Funny station. A kind of art deco 1930 style. Great explanation of the use today. Thanks for showing.
Such a brilliant blue sky! Glad you enjoyed your evening!
Since my dad worked for the Frisco Railroad from 1938-1983, this building is a very special part of my life. I never tire of seeing it.
@s.cThe station was built in 1931 in an art deco style. Tulsa is full of art deco from the 1920's when the city was riding on a wave of new oil money. If you are interested here is a good article about the old depot.
